The studio is led by Kathleen Western, a skilled senior registered professional architect with 20 years experience in a variety of project scales and typologies in Africa, Europe, and South America.

Our experience includes commercial, retail, residential, mixed-use, educational, industrial, governmental, urban design/master-planning, and heritage/conservation work, as well as sustainable architectural practice.

We engage in the design, documentation, and implementation of a range of schemes from project feasibility and conception through construction to ensure design cohesion in realisation.

We believe in the importance of the value that good architecture should bring to everyone everywhere, and we deliver professional service with integrity. We are knowledgeable, imaginative, practical, and cost-effective. We are based in Johannesburg, and work across South Africa and beyond its borders.
